DUX 818 CHARACTERISTICS

CUSTOMIZABLE LUMBAR SUPPORT

Should you require a little extra lumbar support — either permanently or due to a temporary condition like a sports injury or pregnancy — the DUX 818 model includes two removable levers that allow you to increase the bed’s lumbar support (up to 1.5”) to your exact needs.

PASCAL®: OUR CUSTOMIZABLE SUPPORT SYSTEM

Our patented Pascal Cassette System sets The DUX Bed apart from every other bed on the market.  Comprised of interchangeable cassettes of different spring tensions, our Pascal System lets you custom configure its parts to match the exact requirements of your individual body size and weight - and to change them when you change. XUPPORT TOP PAD

Every DUX bed comes with our Xupport Top Pad. This 2.5 inch replaceable mattress pad is cotton covered latex, adds extra softness and cushioning, and is an integral part of The DUX® Bed – enhancing the personal feel and comfort vital to a great night’s rest. Unlike most beds with pillow tops, our top pad is not fastened to the bed. Not only does this complement the contouring nature of our beds, but in the case of an accident or wear, you can simply replace the top pad without having to replace your entire mattress.

SWEDISH STEEL CONTINUOUS COIL SPRING DESIGN

The foundation of every DUX bed is a spring system that is unparalleled in the bedding industry - unparalleled in support, flexibility and resilience. Designed for ultra high performance, our system requires over one mile of specially milled, high tensile steel wire to construct. The final product consists of up to 4,180 interconnected springs whose combined support helps to provide maximum pressure relief to every part of the body. Read More >>

KEEPS YOUR SPINE IN LINE

The DUX Bed is engineered to align your spine to help alleviate back pain and to distribute your weight evenly to maximize circulation. Every component of our high performance sleep system combines to deliver correct sleep posture. This position is only possible if your body is supported along its entire length in a way that allows your spine to rest in a natural position while loosely perpendicular to your hips and shoulders. The only way your back can completely relax is when your spine is supported in this position. Read More >>

UP TO 10% MORE DEEP SLEEP EACH NIGHT*

Researchers at The Karolinska Institute – the prestigious medical university that awards the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine – performed a study investigating the effect different types of mattresses had on the body and sleep quality. Their results showed that those who slept on a DUX bed not only fall asleep faster, but remained in deep sleep longer - approximately one hour more each night.
